Narrators

Kasey, you have a tremendously silly and tremendously enjoyable comic. I, for one, cannot wait for the introduction of the new characters. And it's not just because I have crushes on all of them.

I wonder if you have ever thought of doing a sequence of comics from the point of view of one of the characters, rather than an omniscient narrator. Y'know, kind of like those old Wolverine comics where he's all narrating what it's like to be a tortured soul and not remember your past and whatnot while he's slicing up bad guys and searching for Mariko. Wait, was that her name? I guess it doesn't really matter. Anyway, I thought it might be cool if you did something like that, except your character's focus could be, I don't know, Ellen DeGeneres or something rather than having surgically implanted adamantium claws.

I can't believe it! Right when Chickbait gets sucked into the portal, one of her sandals falls off, and then in the next comic it's back on! What's up with that? Does Kasey think that everyone who reads her comic is a witless moron?

abducted by aliens? Tell me you story

last time the aliens got me I was at the carnival. The little alien disguised himself as a friendly carnie and offered me free cotton candy! Works every time. he impregnated me with a baby that turned out to be a giant yellow shrimp looking thing. He shoots fireballs. I named him sparky. he makes me very proud!

Superpowers (or lack thereof)

I really like the comic book-like feel of Hippie and Bulldyke. Sometimes I wonder if any of the characters have any actual superpowers, or at least superhuman talents. For example, if Bulldyke were to have her mullet chopped off, would she suddenly be reduced, like Samson, to mere mortal status? Maybe they're could be a big showdown with a scissors-wielding antagonist. In fact, I think Amy has been known to give a pretty rockin' haircut from time to time...
